Perfect fit to Honda eu2000i gas cap.Overpriced and nonreturnable. It works fine for my application.I received this Honda EOM gas cap for my EU2000i Generator. My generator is around 20 years old and the old cap was very corroded inside and no longer stopping gas fumes/smell from escaping the fuel tank. This NEW cap is EXACTLY like the original cap. Fits perfectly for my Generator. — Oh, I put the “Silver” on the lettering on the Cap with a Sharpie to make them easier to see.... yours will not have that but it’s very easy to do, just touch the raised lettering & symbols with a Silver sharpie. —-I lost the gas caps for my 2200 Honda generators so I bought these and they fit fine at a good priceGeneratorI can only shake my head at some of these reviews. So the outside of the cap is smaller.... oh nooooooo..... then there’s the other side that’s not posted here.... why does the cap need to be so big.... plastic made from oil... c’mon Honda reduce the carbon footprint. I’m glad we have smartphones so I don’t have to carry a laptop with me or slave myself to a desktop PC. Anyone noticed how the big sedans have slowly gone away?The product is definitely smaller than the original.... from the topside. The working parts are just fine. This cap fits my 2010 eu2000i Companion perfectly. The generator runs perfectly. The cap is stout, the vent mechanism is smooth.Don’t be that person who thinks everything was made better yesterday. Heavier, probably, bigger, most likely. Better.... doubtful.Used this cap to make a extended run fuel system for my Honda generators. It fits my EU1000I and EU2000I generators.Fits my EU2000i perfectly. Apparently it’s a Honda redesign as it’s outside dimensions are smaller than the original. The original part number is 17620-ZT3-020 which is now obsolete. Doesn’t rattle when my EU2000i is running the way the original cap does. I found connecting the cap to the lanyard to be difficult so I pulled out the lanyard (which I didn’t like anyway). Be careful if you do this as you need to pull the filter out and it would be easy to drop the lanyard into the tank.As it’s a genuine part, it’s very expensive but works well. Cheaper than buying a new generator!!!Works great!!This is the wrong size
